Hi Dennis,

Please find below the statement about Dad. I have also attached a photo that we would like to include with the release, if possible.

Thank you,
Kind regards,
Samantha and Family.

John Goss, or 'Gossy' as most of us knew him, died in the early hours of Saturday morning 2nd September 2017. A member of the Wallangarra community for more than 40 years, many of you might know him only as the bloke who carried the flag each ANZAC Day. Those of us who loved him will remember him as much more.

One of a dying breed, Gossy was a gentleman and a larrikin with a huge heart, an irrepressible sense of humour and a fierce sense of loyalty. His colourful ocker vocabulary delighted his grand kids almost as much as the culinary delights he prepared especially for them every time they came.

It was Gossy's wish that his final months be spent at home with those he loved and that no funeral be held following his death.

Be at peace, John Goss (Johnathon, John, Dad, Pop and Gossy). We will remember you.
